Ten physicians who have completed specialized training in pediatrics and obstetrics/gynecology recently graduated from residency training programs at Sacred Heart Hospital.

Seven physicians completed three years of training in pediatrics through Florida State University (FSU) College of Medicine’s pediatric residency program at Sacred Heart. Their names and destinations after graduation are as follows:

• Dr. Liberty Ann Balbort, The Medical Group, Macon, Ga.

• Dr. Laura Marie Pomeroy Barber, plans to practice primary-care pediatrics in a coastal location

• Dr. Mary Joyce Dy Gan, Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship, Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla.

• Dr. Jennifer Mullinax, Hematology/Oncology Fellowship, New Orleans, La.

• Dr. David J. Rhodes, plans to practice in Florida

• Dr. Erica E. Whittingham, Chief Resident, Pediatric Residency Program, 2010-11

• Dr. Tavares K. Williams, joining a private practice in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Three physicians completed four years of training through FSU College of Medicine’s OB/GYN residency program at Sacred Heart. Their names and destinations after graduation are as follows:

• Dr. Paul Payne, The Veranda in Albany, Ga.

• Dr. Matthew Reynolds, West Florida Hospital

• Dr. Christopher Sundstrom, North Florida Womens’ Care in Tallahassee
