MARIANNA, Fla. – Dr. Richard Brunner, a board certified general surgeon, and his staff are relocating to 4215A Kelson Avenue in Marianna on Monday, July 12. Dr. Brunner has been serving the Marianna community for over 20 years and recently expanded his practice to include Port St. Joe, Fla. as well.

Dr.  Brunner obtained his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences and performed his residency training in surgery at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center in Jacksonville. He has broad experience in performing general surgery using minimally invasive, laparoscopic techniques. He also is trained in thoracic, vascular, gynecologic and trauma surgery.

Dr. Brunner and his team, including nurse practitioner Wendy Corbin and Dr. Val-Dee Sheffield, are now part of Sacred Heart Medical Group, which is a large network of more than 100 primary care physicians and specialists with offices in Northwest Florida and South Alabama.
