Dr. Kurt L. Morrison, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Gulf Coast Orthopedics with advanced fellowship training in joint replacement surgery, has joined the medical staff of Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.

Dr. Morrison specializes in total joint replacement of the knee and hip, as well as adult reconstructive surgery of the lower extremities.

Dr. Morrison received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He completed his internship with the American Osteopathic Association and his residency in orthopedic surgery at Garden City Hospital at Michigan State University, where he also served as chief resident.  He also completed advanced fellowship training in adult reconstruction and total joint arthroplasty for the lower extremities at the Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa, Fla.
